Socialism, Sociology, and Neo-Marxism
One of the most significant developments of modern times is the creation of a global economy, affecting work worldwide. The concept of the global economy acknowledges that all dimensions of the economy now cross-national borders, including investment, production, management, markets, labor, information, and technology. Economic events in one nation now can have major reverberations throughout the world. When the economies of any major nation are unstable, the effects are felt worldwide.
Again, as stated in our previous article, “socialism” is an economic system as opposed to a political system. Although, in most instances in order to “make it works” most nations who have elected to use socialism as their own economic system usually affix a name such as “Democratic or Republic plus the name socialist for the simple reason that the leaders would want those in other cultures or societies to acknowledge that they operate a socialist economy in a Democratic political culture. When either identifier – political or economic system – gets so far out of the critical stigmata with nations becoming less Democratic and far less Socialist one issue becomes the variable that affects all people. Here we are referring to Communism.
Also, as mentioned earlier the concept of the global economy acknowledges that all dimensions of the economy now cross-national borders, including investment, production, management, markets, labor, information, and technology.
Now to understand this concept, in reality, is rather utopian in my opinion. Why you ask? If anyone took the courage to think that these dimensions of economic structure are directly related to parts of their own body, such as Investment is now your legs, production equals your arms, management becomes your brain, markets for your feet, labor and information have become your heart, and finally, technology becomes your highest level of critical thinking. I completely dissent to taking parts of a whole human being and upon separation, begin spreading all of your parts to other parts of the world to make it a groupthink type of global supermodel, only available to all.
Nothing like taking sovereignty and throwing it all away. People who proclaim that such a system would work, simply are devoid of simple consciences that would happen in the meantime or interim. For most rational thinkers, the world is in this type of matter right now. Chinese intelligence informing the US CIA that the entire records of anyone who’s ever shopped in a Wal Mart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Chic-Fil-A food vendor or who may be currently registered with the Social Security Administration (SSA), or anyone who has been “data mined” has all of their personal records stored in China.
Should we even refer to Russian involvement in the voting process of this nation? I am not for any global anything.
What is happening in the interim around the world is illegal immigration, causes of political correctness, not to mention tariffs and other duties placed on goods bought from elsewhere.
And finally, before launching fully into socialism as an economic system – it is important to note that I have lived in “Social Democracies” throughout my professional life. If there is one way to understand socialism is that NOTHING is for free. Everything is paid for by your paid-in tax.
