Where are we, personally and as a nation headed?
I wonder about the intentions and motives that seem to hover over well-known Social Media sites. This is a statement that has two perspectives. One, of course, would be the motives of the founders of actual sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other sites of popularity. What motivates a person or persons to allegedly start any one of many sites.
The intentions also seem to be as well-known as the motives. First, let’s look at Facebook. I would venture out to say that Facebook is not a clear Mark Zuckerberg entity. If we simply watch the Academy Award-nominated film, The Social Network, it appears that Zuckerberg’s motives and intentions were not as honorable as some think they are. It is important to understand that Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, but is later sued by two brothers who claimed he stole their idea, and the co-founder who was later squeezed out of the business.
Whatever the motives were (seriously now, what does a college student crave just by being in college?) Well Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and of course Rooney Mara, do a marvelous job of letting everyone know. Justin Timberlake does his level best in portraying Sean Parker, founder of the defunct Napster who weasels his way in, and as far as motives are concerned I will just mention Dakota Johnson the “Stanford girl” and Brenda Song, and Malese Jow as the “bathroom girls.” Special recognition should be given to Armie Hammer who doubled as the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
So, anyone heard of Twitter? The POTUS sure has to tweet daily. However, it goes with the chicks (ladies) and the money successful social media certainly has its place in the 21st-century communication rave.
Yet, my wish and prayers go out to those who think they know something well enough to share. Today on Twitter I was doing my educator best to assist one with answering the question, “are you gay, bi, or lesbian?” As I continued to read a bit more the individual writing the narrative exclaims, “you have no control over who you are attracted too.” Furthermore, our narrator stated that “one has no choice” with the sexual liaisons we are confronted with.
When the individual is attracted to the lady or man in their lives, aren’t they making a choice there? Clearly what I found as demented enough was the notion that sexual liaisons were not of human control (you can be anything you want.) Now, that’s when I began to write!
Of the last part, I guess I am confused with the ways people are. In addition, I am overwrought with people who bleed this trash in and I find most of the social media is people complaining about anything that serves their idiotic minds or trash out.
Why didn’t Democrats stand when multiple stories were exchanged during the SOTU address. It would be much more tolerable and credible if they stood like everyone else did during the portion of honoring our heroes.
