Myths of Multiculturalism

global-food-crisis-1__thumbOn the one hand, we could read about the evils and outright despotism that has come to the minds of many of those experts in cultural studies, cultural assimilation, or the outright movement of people. Then again, on the other hand, we could indeed spend this exact same amount of time reviewing the lives, well-being, and life changes that occur in those people who are the recipients of those who are electively chosen to live in a better situation from whence they came.

For the sake of this writing, I feel obligated to share each version with you and therefore allow you to take the responsibility and be the judge.

It has been clearly defined as multiculturalism:

  • the state or condition of being multicultural, thus having more than one culture living in a definite area.
  • the preservation of different cultures or cultural identities within a unified society, as a state or nation.
  • Multiculturalism describes the existence, acceptance, and/or promotion of multiple cultural traditions within a single jurisdiction, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with an aboriginal ethnic group and foreigner ethnic groups
  • Multiculturalism, the view that cultures, races, and ethnicities, particularly those of minority groups, deserve special acknowledgment of their differences within a dominant political culture.*

Having used a rather large selection of source gathering citations was done purposefully; img_1119__thumbinsofar as depending on what source I looked into there was enough variance in the literal definition to assist me with where, when, and how the matter was defined. It is absolutely imperative for the reader’s to consider this whether older and from European sources, or perhaps a newer version indicating where the definition came into being.

Furthermore, it should be made mention of here that there isn’t one complete ideological concept of the word multiculturalism. The* source I used had multiculturalism categorized into several different  constructs which I believe are probably true. The source is a vast and extremely responsible look at this topic. However, mention must be made to the categories — socialism, ideology, political system, Marxism, democracy, interest group, anarchism, minority, black nationalism, and fascism.

Not to be a sorry sport, but it is these intrusionary categories which I believe leads to the ultimate effectiveness of the true meaning of living in a multi-cultural society. I give every appropriate redress for putting it this way — however, there are some perspectives that must be examined before we can go further.

The Founding generation and the notion of people owning the rights first and then allowing a duly elected representative to exercise those rights in government procedures, then continue on.

It is of critical importance to understand that the world without borders is a world without citizens, and the world without citizens is a world without the rights and privileges that attach exclusively to citizenship. Rights and liberties exist only in separate and independent nations; they are the exclusive preserve of the nation-state.

A constitutional government only succeeds in the nation-state, where the just powers of government are derived from the consent of the governed. By contrast, to see the globalist principle in practice, look at the European Union. The EU is not a constitutional government; it is an administrative state ruled by unelected bureaucrats. It attempts to do away with both borders and citizens, and it replaces rights and liberty with welfare and regulation as the objects of its administrative rule.
