Do you trust this Administration..?

June 11, 2013 Leave a comment

Obama-5-8-12How many of you believe that the Obama Administration has a few problems. Let’s have a real good look at what kind of problems his administration has so far endured – and yet, let us not leave out what continues to be a lingering problem.

All things being equal from the earliest days of his first term as President of the United States (POTUS) his publicly owned residence and offices, the White House, has continually been bombarded with issues and matters that only the POTUS could take attribution.

From the early days of his involvement with the “South Lawn Beer Garden & Bistro” wherein he meddled into someone else’s affairs whilst trying to assert his corruptive culture between a normal police officer and a former university professor the president brought all of that on immaculately by himself.

Only an exhaustive research of history – long after we’re all dead and gone – will the real truth be known as to whether or not this ploy was used to defer attention away from Operation Fast & Furious, which I portend, has never been fully investigated nor have the perpetrators been prosecuted.

Anyway from Benghazi to the IRS to the phone records of journalists and everyday Americans, it’s not difficult to call up a scandal with investigations pending in Washington. We are of the firm belief that most of what is happening in Washington D.C. is a sculpted version of what the real truth is and will remain.

So now, immigration reform makes for a nice distraction.

In his weekly address on Saturday, President Obama called immigration reform “an issue that the vast majority of Americans want addressed.”300px-US_Department_of_Homeland_Security_Seal.svg

This sounds like wishful thinking on his part, considering that unemployment is stuck at 7.6 percent and Americans consistently say that the economy is their No. 1 concern.

But Obama was intent on giving the Gang of Eight’s immigration bill a push as the Senate begins to debate it this week.

Obama claimed that “This bill would continue to strengthen security at our borders”—which the bill simply does not do, despite promises from lawmakers and attempts at amending the legislation.
What the bill does do is give federal agencies more power. Heritage’s E.W. Richardson Fellow, James Carafano, has revealed: this bill lavishes billions of additional spending on the Homeland Security department with no clear requirements on how the money is spent.

At least $2 billion could legitimately be labeled the Secretary’s slush fund. You do realize of course that history has a remarkable way of repeating itself; consequently, the last time I heard of a slush fund was during the final days of the Nixon presidency – and that it was that revelation alone that brought on the Articles of Impeachment for Mr. Nixon.

However, according to the President, anyone who stands in the way of his immigration agenda is just trying to “stoke fear and create division,” he says.
the Obama Regime

The truth is, the Obama Administration has already stoked plenty of fear in Americans lately.

They fear that Obamacare will make the health care system worse.

They fear being targeted by an all-powerful IRS.

They fear that the Administration could be digging into their phone calls.

And perhaps the most important “Trust-us” nothing to fear is the fact that the US is getting ready to support the rebel factions within Syria.

But the President and his allies in the Senate are saying, “Trust us.” They’re asking the American people to trust that their “comprehensive” immigration legislation—which would give sweeping powers to more federal agencies—will work smoothly. That granting amnesty to illegal immigrants before securing the border will have a different effect than it did last time.

What do you think?

Scandals…what! Accountability Issues

Scandals…what! Accountability Issues

World Sailing Map

Let’s look at simple accountability; and how it relates to transparency. For the longest period of time we have been writing about accountability on this site so much that it is the biggest “TAG” we have. Where we stand there is more than duty, honor, and trust when it comes down to holding public office in this country.

Anytime that a person – regardless of who they work for – accepts a position of leadership they also are accepting responsibility, liability, culpability, and answerability for issues that may occur in their charter of responsibility.

This is not a new concept. There is a reason why the POTUS carries the title of Commander-in-Chief. Most of all dimensions of government have been set up with accountability added in. Let us never forget the cliché, “That’s why you get the big bucks…”

Therefore knowing that accountability is part of the job what exactly does this mean. According to our dictionary being held accountable means taking the responsibility to somebody or for something. Furthermore, accountability lists the amplitude to explain what it is that has happened and every reason why.

Please join me in making the most heinous, make-shift accountable people, in the world known and let’s ask for some accountability.

We would be shirking in our own responsibilities if we did not at least mention Ann Coulter and what she pronounces in most all of her best-selling books. Just as in the way she describes how liberals will change (or try to change) the subject being debated to something that will better suit their needs and agenda than the original topic.

Let’s just have a look at some specifics using Ms. Coulter’s theory. The left has come up with the illusion of scandals that have been created and nurtured by those on the right. How could this possibly be?942157_654888937858062_883494581_n

The notion behind a scandal is a situation or event that causes public outrage or censure. Taking this definition just a bit further we find that a scandal is caused by public outrage as a consequence of a particular event. All of these illusions, situations, that cause public outrage as a consequence of an event that ends up being malicious talk; however, we would argue even more so that the malicious talk comes from one of the consequences of abusing a people’s trust.

So then who started all of the Benghazi-gate fiasco in the first place? Well I can assure you it wasn’t anyone from the right who concocted a story about an eight minute video that insulted Islam. Furthermore, I not going to try and make you believe that it was me who believed that the infamous “Talking Points” used by our Ambassador to the United Nations, Ms. Susan Rice, in a mass media situation. Just so you know those “Talking Points” were edited several times by the CIA, FBI, and members in the White House.

AP_Web_1Therefore using a line of common sense how much of those talking points were used in the public disgrace offered up by Eric Holder and the Justice Department for gaining access to private information of James Rosen?

And no! Hell no it is not considered piling on when we find out that the nation’s keeper of the money has been targeting not only organizations but individuals as well. This is a matter that caused the resignation of President Nixon.

Now then…back to good old fashioned accountability. Enough of the “I don’t recall, or I don’t know” a la Eric Holder and back to Fast & Furious. Now we have people within the IRS saying the exact same thing albeit they are still being paid and receiving promotions.

Trouble Brewing for Obamacare and Immigration Reform

May 30, 2013 Leave a comment

brown too22Trouble Brewing for Obamacare and Immigration Reform

A little noticed provision of the Obama health law is likely to become a big roadblock to immigration reform. Obamacare makes legal immigrants eligible for subsidized private health plans on the exchanges, regardless of how recently they arrived.

The Gang of Eight immigration plan is expected to double the number of legal immigrants coming into the country with permanent visas over the next decade. That would add at least $100 billion to the cost of Obamacare health plan subsidies, depending on how many new arrivals aren’t covered through an employer.

Actually this started off for us by a minute or so public service announcement (PSA) provided by Fox News. The PSA covers a short story of a 50 year old woman who swam across the Rio Grande River from Mexico to Texas and then she’s relocated to the state of Florida.

The individual is now collecting about $240.00 per month in food stamps; lives in government housing, collects a minimum of $700.00 per month from the Social Security Administration; and, her navigator states that she receives some assistance for Medicaid and other incidentals.

So naturally those of us who saw this PSA which after review is a topical advertisement for State Inspired Insurance Exchanges and the new “Navigators” who are placed in charge of illegal immigrants making the transfer from illegal status to legal residents.

We broke this scheme of arrangement down to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or the medium in which the entitlement of Food Stamps is funded. (Please read this sections article.)

The Affordable Care Act includes a variety of provisions designed to promote accountability, affordability, quality, and accessibility in the health care system. Yet, that’s not all it does… The Affordable Care Actsnap creates new competitive private health insurance marketplaces – called the Affordable Insurance Exchanges or “Exchanges” – that will provide millions of Americans with opportunities.

Exchanges will help individuals and small employers shop for, select, and enroll in qualified health plans. Exchanges will also assist eligible individuals to receive premium tax credits and cost sharing reductions or help individuals enroll in other Federal and state health care programs such as Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Although through a pinnacle campaign promise – those of a different working man’s Washington, no back room deals, and the campaign was alleged to support the most transparent government in modern history – we ask you have you received transparency or the complete lack thereof with a monstrous executive branch agency targeting conservative and who knows what other industries as in the case of the IRS.

Additionally, we wonder how many of you were aware of the implications of Obamacare during the health reform’s courtship. Section 1311(i) of the Affordable Care Act requires each Exchange to develop and implement Navigator grant programs. This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is open to eligible entities and self-employed individuals (see Section 1311(i)(2) of the Affordable Care Act) applying to serve consumers in States with an FFE or State Partnership Exchange.

It seems to be getting deeper and deeper into the dung heap…

What an Outrageous mix-up

May 29, 2013 Leave a comment

_drug-routes-2011What an Outrageous mix-up

The Washington Post is confounded by its own poll. Only 18 percent of Americans support the Gang of Eight’s legalization-first approach to illegal immigration, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll. Yet the Post began its story on the poll with, “Comprehensive immigration reform moves to the Senate floor next week with solid overall support from the public.”

Now hopefully, although doubtful just maybe the Washington Post as well as those 100 elite senators could come to the realization that not only are they 300px-No_IRS.svgsounding extremely stupid but confused as well.

What we find as pathetic is in the notion that one of the nation’s largest and leading newspapers let something so terribly disgusting as a super low percentile factor completely slip through the hands of an editorial staff that many claim has no rivals.

Even more egregious is the reporter had to get it from somewhere – and in this case it was no doubt a member of the Gang of Eight. If we were to look at the congressional approval rating still hovering at a 34 year low, and consider that the members of the Senate and their glorified attitudes of we’ll get it done with blazing speed just slowed down to see what it is the American people want.

Subsequently, that is the problem we are faced with currently. Whilst other agencies of the US government are embarrassing themselves with scandal amid another greater one and still lying about what really happened let’s admit it – from the White House to the Justice Department to the State Department onward to the Internal Revenue Service and wind that up with an Attorney General that can’t keep his fabrications straight on a day-by-day basis.

What we, the American people need to do is to tell these paper-mache blowhards who are allegedly supposed to be representing us – the people – in fact paid by the people to get the cushiest seat for bribing, lying sealdojto, or even exhorting members of the various special interest groups.

DOSHow does 18 percent translate into “solid overall support”? The Post reporters drew their conclusion based on 58 percent of poll respondents saying they would support “a program giving undocumented immigrants now living in the United States the right to live here legally if they pay a fine and meet other requirements.”

That is even worse! There is clear evidence that reporters should not be involved in surveying or polling in any way – in this case they have responded to an incorrect statement [right to live/remain in the USA legally once fines and fees are met], furthermore, they only cited a little more than half [58 percent] to support a very stupid assertion.

Time for how others feel – this is a great comment that indeed inspired mine as well as over 3600 more at The Washington Post Social Reader comments section:

How ironic that the clueless Washington Post still portrays the immigration bill debate as being between “liberals” and “conservatives”. It’s more like between Washington’s clueless elites and the entire rest of the country that has to do deal with the real world and hard-core concerns about economics and survival, you know, like jobs and wages. That means liberals, conservatives and moderates together. And you wonder why your subscriber base and readership are shrinking so severely?

This corrupt immigration bill would increase non-immigrant guest worker visas so much that American workers, already facing high unemployment, decreased wages and worsening debts from student loans and other factors would be placed in even worse shape. That’s especially the case with the ridiculous H1-B visa which would get massively increased while corporations would have a pass to ignore American workers altogether. That’s also the case with other guest-worker visa types, it’s all about cheap labor. You really think that this is something that liberals or Independents (let alone conservatives) would support?

Maybe wake up one day from your delusional fantasy world, and realize that the 99% of Americans don’t care about the stupid inside-the-Beltway horse races or politicking. They care about jobs and wages above all else, and this arrogant immigration reform bill is an attack on the basic support structures of American communities. Any politicians, of either party, who support this disgusting bill are dooming their political careers and their private careers once they’re ousted, because they will hounded for such an arrogant attack on American workers.

People do support reasonable immigration policies, which the President can accomplish with Executive Action to better enforce the law. But look at the labor force participation rate, the the U-6, the number of Americans in poverty and using food stamps (hint– they’re all records) and maybe you’ll see why Americans oppose this.

That was brought to you by me, compliments of malagasy.

The Facts about Food Stamps Everyone Should Hear

May 28, 2013 Leave a comment

fed-food-stampA recent US News & World Report article set out to unveil the “facts” about food stamps.

What are the so-called “facts”?

For one, the article claims that the food stamps program is not “bloated,” but rather, the surge in participation and spending is a result of the program “doing what it’s supposed to do.”

But what is it “supposed to do”?

Food stamps (or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), as it is now called) were designed to ensure that Americans without the ability to provide for themselves are able to receive basic nutrition. However, application loopholes and policy changes over the past decade or so have allowed recipients to bypass income and asset tests, meaning many people are receiving food stamps that would not have been eligible under the program’s original purposes.

Sound familiar to anyone? Let’s try this one on. During the late 1980s through the 1990s and just about through the first decade of 2000 people were held to fewer circumstances (income and asset tests) that those receiving food stamps today, albeit working with banks on home ownership.

We really don’t care what it is called meaning a recession or the housing bubble exploded. We don’t like to muddy the waters – orders given by politicians to bankers, investment bankers, and those given over to securities transactions – to literally lower the standards when purchasing a home is just plain wrong.

It seems very real and very possible that humankind will go for anything that’s not bolted down. Food stamps, housing, and other entitlements are definitely included. This blatant disrespect for one that uses these Bfoodstampreform2012chart1 (1)hand-outs (for those not needing them) is surely making its way into some kind of culture. One specific culture that we would prefer not to be aligned with.

One of the changes in eligibility requirements is “broad-based categorical eligibility.” This type of eligibility means that an individual who receives any service under another welfare program, such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)—even something as small as a TANF brochure—can be deemed eligible for food stamps. A full 50 percent of all food stamp recipients now enroll in the program through this broad-based categorical eligibility procedure.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has operated substantial outreach programs to pull more people onto the food stamp rolls. Some states have gone so far as to hire food stamp recruiters, tasked with filling a monthly quota of new food stamp enrollees.

What’s more, food stamps are just one of roughly 80 federally funded means-tested welfare programs. The total cost of government welfare spending has been on a nearly continual climb over the past five decades and has increased 16-fold, to nearly $1 trillion annually, since the 1960s. Welfare is the fastest growing part of government spending, and under Obama’s fiscal year 2013 budget, total welfare spending will permanently increase from 4.5 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) to 6 percent of GDP.

In addition it should be noted “as a fact” that those receiving food stamps are those who work. However, a significant portion of able-bodied recipients of food stamps perform little to no work. Of the roughly 10.5 million households receiving food stamps containing an able-bodied, non-elderly adult (there are approximately 20 million households receiving food stamps total), more than half—5.5 million—performed no work during a given month in 2010. Another 1.5 million to 2 million performed fewer than 30 hours of work per week. This isn’t unique to the recession, but is typical even during good economic times.

Programs like food stamps should be reformed to promote self-reliance through work, empowering individuals and families to become free from government dependence.

Other topics that we are raring at the bit to get too is one the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder; however it does take time sifting through all of his lies.

The other one we wanted to get to today….(time permitting) is the lifting of the arms embargo so that the Syrian opposition rebels can put together an overwhelming offensive on the current regime.

Culture of Intimidation

May 24, 2013 1 comment

dec1Well isn’t it amazing the altruisms versus real life issues we find in politics – so much in fact that early on in this nation’s prehistory there were so much studied, entire epochs giving reference over to those who would be in power.

The Age of Enlightenment or simply the Enlightenment is the era in Western philosophy, the includes critical, intellectual, and reasoned thought, scientific, and cultural life, centered upon the 18th century, in which reason was advocated as the primary source for legitimacy and authority.

Developing simultaneously in France, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the American colonies, the movement was buoyed by Atlantic Revolutions, especially the success of the American Revolution, when breaking free of the British Empire.

As for me whilst I study history with emphasis on the character of humankind, let’s just say that most of us around here are simply derailed by some of the behaviors we see in other people that should know better.

We are of the complete reasoning that this Lois Lerner of the Cincinnati bureau of the IRS, just as with her other colleagues, Douglas Shulman and disgraced former Acting IRS Commissioner Steven Miller, and hell Lenny and Squiggy, have been used by the Obama Administration’s well-acknowledged threats of what is referred to as Obama’s culture of intimidation. Interestingly, both said that what the IRS really needs are more people and money to function properly.

With new reports today that the Obama Department of Justice leaked documents intended to smear a whistle blower in the Fast & Furious gun walking scandal. It is now more obvious than ever that this300px-No_IRS.svg administration has, in the words of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), created a “culture of intimidation” that stretches from the White House down to myriad agencies of the executive branch.

From his language suggesting targeting of enemies to his officials’ attempts to castigate Tea Partiers as economic terrorists, President Obama has presided over an administration that sees his political opponents as unworthy and nasty.

Early in his administration, Obama threatened CEOs of banks, “My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.” The White House’s regular meetings with non-profit hit group Media Matters are often designed to help target conservative media ranging from Fox News to Rush Limbaugh.

Department of Justice Inspector General, showing that former US Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke leaked documents intended to smear a whistle blower in Fast & Furious, is only the latest revelation on misconduct from DOJ. The DOJ has also targeted Fox News reporter James Rosen over leaks from State Department employee Stephen Jin-Woo Kim; according to Megyn Kelly, and two Fox News staffers.

white hThe IRS’ discrimination against conservative non-profit groups has stunned Americans, but conservatives have known for years that the Obama IRS targets conservatives. Yes…but consider this and the ramifications – the POTUS uses his culture of intimidation techniques that therefore creates entire agencies within his purview to do unquestionably unconstitutional issues with you at the helm.

In a close review of Breitbart’s Big Government site, Mr. Ben Shapiro, goes to extraordinary lengths to show how encompassing Obama’s Culture of Intimidation is in reality and he lists the agencies here.

As young men, moreover as boys, most of us are taught this little cliché: It may take a long time, even a lifetime to build trust; however, it only takes seconds or minutes to watch it crumble.

We can question and question and subpoena as many people possible; yet, in the final analysis the buck will always stop on President Obama.

What a Lousy Joke…

May 22, 2013 Leave a comment

rotunda-capitol-7-1-11Nothing, so help me Lord, has there been such mockery, indecision, and corruption that just seems to go by – and so remarkably so that everyone, except the Ringmaster himself seems to be in awestruck and left wanting.

I will readily admit that in my experience there has never been such excrement – literally feces, dung, and various other remnant parts – floating around a Ringmaster and his Court we refer to as an executive branch of government.

The hilarious oddity given this situation is that either it will be very hard to seize the orchestrating culprits if for no other reason than “We the People” seem to buy what the latest flavor of dung is – or the most monumental excuses are proffered enough for everyone in the world to see the U.S. as complete and utterly incompetent.

And we will be taking challenges for the following two weeks if there is anyone out there who has seen or experienced factions within a government that this one under the leadership of Barack (Barry) Obama (Sotero) and the stupid people who are falling on their swords by the minute…moreover, by the scandal and in doing so what has been lost…nothing!

I really do apologize on behalf of The Contemplative Thinker as well as those who work here that have to put up with me. I beg your apologies my dear readers if it seems as though I am coming undone. Allow me to preempt some thoughts…

Currently we have in the United States investigations going on like parties; subsequently, for goodness sakes people ask yourselves this question: Are we investigating the right people for alleged crimes they’ve committed. If there is anything that we learned from Watergate it was twofold: the first part was aiming at the right person – let’s forget about the little guys and the bugger flickers; and at least President Richard Nixon had enough class to resign before the articles of impeachment were even dry.

America was set up with tolerance and a measured response to how much human nature it would take from rebellious factions. The United States were set up and anyone who is reading this should take the time to read the documentation that was used in the preparation of the guiding principles. The Declaration of Independence is one of the most astounding documents they relied on. Just a few worthy of mentions here:

The Rights of the Englishmen, just about anything from John Locke and Adam Smith, England during the Middle Ages was an officially Christian nation. Many ideas on how things should be done in law therefore had their origins in Judeo-Christian thought, from the Bible and from Christian theology.

Like it or not folks – however the fact remains that there is far too many references made throughout American history to justify otherwise. America’s social mores and constructs, counter culture analysis, and the way419105_10151238154313092_1906501386_n in which we live are the direct results of those who believed this to be true.

Therefore, as we continue to embarrass ourselves in the eyes of the world perhaps there is something that each person would be willing to contribute as a “collective article” here at The Contemplative Thinker. Okay it seems to me that approximately one year ago, or precisely April-May 2012 there was a press inundated with score sheets that Barack Obama carried with him and many people often checked to see if they were on any of “those lists.”

Now when one takes legitimate power entities such as the Associated Press International, Benghazi Libya, the Internal Revenue Service, and the State Department, Justice Department, the FBI, C.I.A., almost every intelligence agency truly known, as well as today’s ‘get back’ by Eric Holder to an AFT agent whistle-blower and hey, why not, Fast & Furious as well, the Attorney General of the United States finding newly acquired information to bring charges…this stuff is in a heap.

FOUNDING FATHERS QUOTES FRIDAY Liberty, Rights, Freedom, and the Opposite…

May 17, 2013 Comments off

We the People
Founding Fathers Quotes Friday on Liberty, Rights, Freedom, and the Opposite…

Have you ever gone around shirking any kind of resemblance to a quiz, test, or other big jargon like an exam when it comes down to what it is that we know in and from the U.S. Constitution? So many of us simply take it for granted that the Constitution is really the preamble “We the People”, in conjunction with those first ten or so amendments. Believe it or not, that is remarkably what it states about the importance of Americans Founding Documents for the Naturalization Test or basically any of the websites that offer quizzes.

As far as we are concerned there are three rudimentary questions that must be addressed if we are to survive as a people – a nation.

1 – Why is America so unique in world history; 2 – Why the Constitution (and the underlying principles on which it is based) enabled America to become the freest, most prosperous nation in history; and 3 – Why the key to making America great again is to restore the Constitution as the supreme law of the land.

To do this, “We the People” must elect a government that will respect rather than violate or ignore the Constitution. Subsequently the only way to make this happen is if the American peopletyranny2 learn about and understand the Constitution, and it underlying principles of individual rights and limited government.

There are many, many sites available that will openly encourage each of us to take a small quiz. The Pew Research Center, the International Scholastic Institute, and of course, the Naturalization Test that regardless we ask each of you to at least take a look at what real dumbing-down is and consequently grade inflation.

There are many institutions that actively teach the Principles of the Constitution as well as American heritage which are so critical to preserving liberty in America.

We are fully convinced that the only way to counter the assault on the Constitution and to restore liberty in America is to educate American citizens and our elected leaders on the Constitution and its underlying principles.

There is a reason that the Founders debated and went through the ratification process to ensure we had a Constitution. The principle reason is that the Constitution does not allow the government to do what it wants – a reason that it established a federal government with specific, enumerated powers. That reason is to ensure that the federal government does what it must to preserve liberty, and does not become tyrannical.

The Constitution does not authorize Congress to create the massive bureaucracy today that results in a fourth branch of government. And with the passage and enactment of Obamacare, that branch will grow even larger.

judicialwatch-3The Founders understood the need for a Constitution to limit the power of the federal government to protect civil and religious liberty. It is well-known today that if our political leaders actually followed the Constitution, one estimate suggests that the federal government would be about one-third the size it is now.

Furthermore, most of the day-to-day governing in America would take place at the state and local level. Instead our leaders are ignoring or actively opposing the limits on government established by the Constitution, literally enslaving future generations with unsustainable debt.

Unfortunately, far too many Americans today don’t even know what the Constitution says – which is why America is in such dire straits. Most Americans have never even read our Declaration of Independence, which sets forth the principles of liberty and limited government more clearly than any document ever written.

Please do not forget about our poll just over to the right…please participate!

The Appalling Gaul of Some People

May 15, 2013 Comments off

Just imagine this…

holder in contemptEric Holder lashed out at his chief antagonist Wednesday at a congressional hearing where the attorney general was questioned on recent administration scandals, telling Republican Rep. Darrell Issa at the end of a tense exchange that his conduct is “shameful.”

Holder’s comments came after Issa accused him of purposely and repeatedly keeping information from Congress. Now let’s all ask ourselves…does AG Eric Holder purposely keep information from Congress?

Any sound and logical person, knowing the history of Eric Holder’s visits to the Senate Judiciary Committee, the House Committee on Ethics and Responsibility, and now the House Judiciary Committee investigating Holder’s involvement with why he called the FBI and other DOJ personnel off of the Boston Marathon bomber; there’s a key here folks – Eric Holder has been found in Contempt predicated upon is dragging feet with the Fast & Furious investigation.

“No, that’s what you typically do,” Holder responded. Following crosstalk, Holder added, “That is inappropriate and is too consistent with the way in which you conduct yourself as a member of Congress. It’s unacceptable and it’s shameful.”

The heated exchange with the lawmaker who led the charge against Holder regarding the botched Operation Fast and Furious came during a House Judiciary Committee hearing that examined a new set of scandals. Holder was grilled on a series of allegations, including the way the agency tried to find out who was behind a government leak to The Associated Press.

The AP, along with several lawmakers, say the Justice Department infringed on the constitutional rights of the press when it secretly obtained two months’ worth of phone records. Lawmakers tried to get answers out of Holder Wednesday but voiced frustration after Holder repeatedly rebuffed questions by claiming he wasn’t involved in the decision-making process.

This brings us to a portion that speaks volumes about the entire Obama administration. How often have we, as America citizens seen the usurping and unreasonable attacks on our rights by this over sized and pathetic government?

Worse still is how many times they think we are going to buy-in to their somehow faulty memories – for example:

REV WRIGHT racist statements – “didn’t know”
BILL AYERS – “didn’t know him from that era”
AIG EXECUTIVE BONUSES – “didn’t know”
SOCIAL SECURITY SCANDAL lavish parties- “didn’t know”
VAN JONES resignation – “didn’t know his radical past”
ACORN wide-spread scandals – “didn’t know”
SECRET SERVICE scandal – “didn’t know”
ALIAS EMAILS / EPA – “didn’t know”
EPA RADICAL ARMENDARIZ, RESIGNATION – “didn’t know”

What kind of administration would go to the lengths…

What kind of administration would go to the lengths…

irs tax formsWhat can you say about an administration that uses the Internal Revenue Service to go after its political foes?

What can you say about an administration that lies systematically about events leading up to the torture-murder of one of its ambassadors, U.S. military personnel and other U.S. citizens in Benghazi?

That can you say about an administration that uses drones to spy on its own citizens and to kill them overseas without due process. Has there ever been a time in the history of the U.S. where anyone remotely had domination complex?

What can you say about an administration that monitors the phone records of the largest news-gathering organization in the world – and one of the friendliest to that administration?

The only fair assessment is that it is a rogue administration. One that represents a frightening departure from any previous historical precedent in its authoritarian nature, one out of touch with the rule of law, one that is revealing itself to be prone to tyrannical policies and one that has committed so many impeachable offenses it’s becoming difficult to count them all.

And please don’t mind…but it is us who have stood by and done nothing whatsoever to stop this thug with his thuggery. (Please click here for further attribution.)

Almost on a daily basis now the police-state tactics of the Obama White House are on display. They no longer need to be ferreted out by a handful of independent journalists and the citizen blogosphere. Even the Big Media that have coddled Barack Obama and shielded him from scrutiny for nearly five years are shocked by what they see. AP_Web_1 (Please see this link.)

The latest abuse was revealed by the Associated Press – which was also the victim.

The lead says it all: “WASHINGTON (AP) – The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of…

The shocking report goes on to explain both work and personal phone records were seized and scrutinized.

“In all, the government seized the records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012,” the report continued. “The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown, but more than 100 journalists work in the offices where phone records were targeted, on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.”

AP is, of course, outraged – and today sent a letter of protest to Attorney General Eric Holder, who, I predict, will not finish out his term in office.

holder in contempt“There can be no possible justification for such an over-broad collection of the telephone communications of the Associated Press and its reporters,” said the letter. “These records potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the news-gathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP’s news-gathering operations and disclose information about AP’s activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know,” wrote AP President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Pruitt.

Obama rose to power suddenly and, with the help of friendly media like the AP, was unstoppable in his bid for a second term. But he may be the cause of his own political undoing. Nobody likes what they are seeing in Washington today – not the left nor the right nor the mushy middle, not the so-called “mainstream media” nor its burgeoning alternative, not conservative legal watchdogs nor the American Civil Liberties Union.

The Obama administration is running out of cheerleaders.

This is big.

It’s a game-changer.

Obama is fighting off too many scandals – Benghazi-gate, IRS-gate and now Press-gate.

If this were almost any other president in American history, he would already be writing his resignation letter.

Obviously the majority of this article was mastered by World Net Daily — and then we have added our fair share –h/t and thank you to World Net Daily.     Hat-tip
