Let's take it back...our Nation!

Whew! What an amazing response we’ve received on our earlier article on Personal Responsibility. We believe now as we have in the past that a large section of our nation is fed up and frankly, tired of the compromising that continues through the federal government’s need for power – especially those who are currently in power – and the means by which they will go and achieve it.

One specific and quite pithy article is directly beneath this one that addresses how estranged the federal government is at this time by the non–enforcement of federal and state laws; and what is worse is the notion of new mandates and policies that happen within the departmental level that the heads of each department are trying to pass off on “its law.”

The current administration is without question the worst offender of this process. We have found that since President Barack Obama was elected that the entire notion of equality and inequality has placed we, as in, We the People, at various odds even within ourselves. As a consequence the flux between unity and disunity becomes even more glaring; therefore, people are in desperate need for order which just happens to be the main topic of political science; or, stated another way is political science is the study of humankind’s need for power and order.

Many of the controversies of politics, moreover, have to do with the impact of power on the unity and disunity and on equality and inequality of those it is looking to serve. The entire impact of power on the unity or equality and their opposites within a given society can as we are sure you would agree can be devastating. Let’s look at some various examples to illustrate what we’re talking about.

The US Supreme Court has ruled in favor of some of the provisions of Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070, namely that the state does have the right to federal protection; moreover, when border’s begin to relocate and the citizenry that reside in those areas begin to feel the unsettling of the drug cartels or the notion of arming them, (Brian Terry, and the ATFE) then when the federal government does not or will not get involved then the state does have a right to protect itself – at the very least by asking an already detained individual their country of origin, that this in and of itself is not violating a person’s civil and or human rights.

Now then on the other side of balancing the power between branches of government when under the Obama administration’s newly promulgated regulations, there’ll be no more deportation of young people brought here illegally as children. Presumably, therefore, the Arizona law is invalid because an officer might be looking into the status of a young person the feds now classify as here legally.

Just a quick quibble – President Obama executed his Executive (Power) Order for those who are willing to believe whatever comes from this person; moreover, with the issuance of the E.O., Obama bypassed and side stepped each and every person in this nation and their duly elected officials. It is the United States Congress who is responsible for Immigration and Naturalization policy which we assert has already voted on legislation concerning this dividing mess.

Therefore, President Obama without the permission of the U.S. Congress, as well as directly against the ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court very much seized the power and with a stroke of a pen made it legal for some 1.5 million or more illegal’s to legally live in America.

Please remember that it is Congress who makes the laws and the Supreme Court renders the process of judicial review, and the president either concurs or not. Most importantly however is that no single person or branch of government has that kind of power and it is our, collective responsibility to tell Mr. Obama he has shredded our Constitution and that he is ruling much the same as a dictator.

Another personal responsibility we have collectively, as a society – as a nation – is to remind President Obama that he does not have a right, title, or interest to intervene into a Constitutionally protected religious entity. By what possible authority does a president order private companies to provide free services? This new policy which tramples the free-exercise clause of the First Amendment invented to tame the firestorm casually orders private insurers to provide free contraceptives to employees of the objecting religious institutions.
