Diplomacy, Transparency, mere talking…

October 21, 2011

On this Friday when it seems as though everything coming from the government is nothing but a huge lie to cover-up one thing after another – promises of transparency have become campaign toys while diplomacy has turned into full military engagements in Central Africa, Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq while other sectors of the government are again refusing to do what Congress has chartered them to do – as in the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) – seriously, these agencies have decided not to do the work they’ve been hired to do. Well allow us to state this, with unemployment a lot closer to 10 percent we advise some vintage Reaganesqe measures.

President Reagan in one day saw to the laying-off and termination of 200,000 Air Traffic Controllers for going on strike when they and their union would not sign a new employment contract when it was well known to almost every citizen that ATC and members of the United States Postal Service (USPS) are forbidden by law to strike.

So before Sunday services, it is Friday so let’s make a commitment:

Do not ask for “Multiculturalism” until you’ve seen the profound effects of when those of another culture do not want to assimilate into the America way. Do not ask for anything near a neo-constitution until the current one that we have continues to be hammered and molested by legislating judges. What we are simply asking is this: Stop telling us that you are creating a special “tolerance/intolerance” at the price of religious freedom in Berkeley, IL when at the same time you are not allowing American people to enjoy their right to religious freedom such as in New Mexico. Bring – it – Real!!

Jurors got a glimpse Friday morning of the kind of confrontations likely to ensue in the unprecedented trial of three Montrealers accused of slaying four family members in an “honor” killing.

Mohammad Shafia, 58, his wife, Tooba, 41, and their son Hamed, 20, face life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years if convicted of the charges of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors allege that the victims — sisters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, Geeti, 13 and Rona Amir Mohammad, 52, who was Shafia’s first wife — were killed and then placed inside a small car that was pushed into a canal at a relatively inaccessible location. It was a bid to conceal the crimes as an accident, jurors were told.

On the opening day of the trial, a prosecutor outlined the Crown’s theory (Canadian) that the murders were carried out to restore the family’s tarnished honor. Prosecutor Laurie Lacelle told jurors that Mohammad Shafia was angry that his daughters, who were close to his first wife Rona, were become Westernized, wearing revealing clothing and consorting with boys, against his conservative beliefs.

Prosecutors said jurors will hear from many witnesses who will testify that the victims were dominated by their father, were regularly abused and faced death threats. The Shafia family, natives of Afghanistan, came to Canada in 2007 and settled in Montreal.

Just a laundry list in closing here folks; one, when desired multiculturalism and/or diversity, or any action that will cause cultures to come together there must be a respect and diligence for the dominate culture. In essence the dominant culture is ready to accept everyone who will respect their established ways. However, the dominate culture can easily accept the sub-dominate cultures as long as the new culture to the mix does not expect for the main dominate culture to change too much.
Honor killings, domestic violence, none acceptance of the dominate cultures ways is fine, until one breaks the law. Now language skills are tantamount to this process. So is living within the rules.
