Very early on, moreover, when the entire shenanigan started with immigration reform bill we knew and we were prepared. In the interests of their children, homes, community, and standard of living several, states such as, California, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico started their own Minutemen, all volunteer, quasi-Border Patrol. Who could possibly blame them? Talk about patriotism! It figures that these folks would be in (most cases) seasoned citizens who are just sick and tired of hearing the same old rhetoric from the government on high.
We must remember these Minutemen and Minute-women, for they are the exact same folks who forged this great nation through world wars, cold wars, depressions, other natural catastrophes that were willing and able to give their time and very possibly their lives doing the right thing. All they wanted was to secure the border they worked so hard to make and defend.
There could never be a better lesson for America now and future generations than what these “seasoned citizens” wanted to do. Do you think they even got a simple “thank you” from anyone in Washington D.C? Not that I know of; however, worse still is that Big G didn’t want or need their services. In my humble opinion this was one of the first major salvos lofted for Immigration Reform. Now the next big element in battle is the diversion.
In the markets on Wall Street brokers look for what are called diversions. Basically a diversion is a distraction, or even a change of purpose, or mostly, a change of direction or path. Suffice it to say that brokers look to these diversions as a means to gauge when to buy or sell stocks or commodities. Essentially, when a change of direction or path of a given stock is a clear sign to wake up and act!
Ostensibly, this is exactly what is happening now with big government. And you know what? We, the people of America, are winning the battle for what we want, versus what big government wants for us. Believe me folks if you aren’t aware of it yet, then please stay with me and I will keep typing and talking and typing and whatever it takes to ensure victory!
We know that the bill will not work. Essentially, we have learned how to discern the Senate’s lies and misinterpretations. The bill will not work simply because those “elected officials” up on Capitol Hill want to suit their own best interests. It is also very obvious that we don’t believe them. Therefore, what is it that their trying to put past us? Obviously democrats want to increase the welfare state, public dependence on them, and to increase their voting constituent. Republicans, on the other hand, has motives based in hard core economics with undoubted kick-backs. I allow for a margin of error insofar as there are some officials who really want to do what is right for us.
The long and short of it is that the jig is up in D.C. I believe the American people have awakened to the dangers of big government: People don’t think or believe what they say is going to work. Basically the American people are seeing through what Washington D.C., is doing for their own person interests.
If I don’t get anything across for today—please remember this: We are winning the “Battle of Immigration Reform” stay strong, fight the good fight, and let’s take our country back!

Hey,
Once again you’ve nailed it…better today than yesterdays. I am gaining an entire new insight of the workings of the US government and how it manipulates this illegal alien situation…disgustingly!!

I live in Arizona and I whole heartedly disagree. I believe our “standard of living” and our economy depends on the workforce we have in place at the very least. We already have tons of HELP WANTED signs everywhere and not enough people to fill the jobs. And here’s a bit of information for those who think illegal aliens drive wages down: we pay MORE THAN MINIMUM WAGE here in Arizona. In fact, the lowest level jobs pay at least $8.00/hr (landscaping, cook, etc.), while there are an abundance of vacant construction jobs that start at $20.00/hr – entry level no experience required.
Our Governor, Janet Napolitano, recently wrote an article in the Washington Post (link below):
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/08/AR2007060802399.html
“On the subject of immigration, my plea to Congress is loud and clear: You can’t quit now. Last week the Senate was on the verge of addressing our broken immigration system. No, the compromise bill wasn’t perfect. But our current system is a disaster. I implore lawmakers to go back to the table, iron out their differences and give us an immigration system that is enforceable, and the resources to enforce it.
“Opponents of the Senate immigration bill — those who really want to do nothing — merely yelled “amnesty” in place of reasoned opposition. They were — and are — just plain wrong. Don’t let them derail your efforts.
“No one favors illegal immigration. But there are upwards of 12 million people illegally in this country — people who work, who have settled their families and who have raised their children here. For 20 years our country has done basically nothing to enforce the 1986 legislation against either the employers who hired illegal immigrants or those who crossed our borders illegally to work for them. Accordingly, our current system is, effectively, silent amnesty.
“If we have no comprehensive immigration reform this year, and if we do not deal rigorously and openly with those already here, silent amnesty will continue. As a border-state governor who has dealt with immigration issues more than any other governor I know of, I am certain that continued inaction by Congress — silent amnesty — is the worst of all worlds.”

Article 1 section 10 of the American Constitution states:
No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, ***unless actually invaded,*** or in such ***imminent Danger*** as will not admit of delay.
These border states could very easily, flat out make a case that they have the right to engage in War against these invaders and pay for it with a lay duty of Tonnage.
I am not saying shoot them down, unless they shoot first, which by the way they are, but I am saying round them up and put them in dessert camps like the unlawful invading army they are.
State governments have no excuse waiting for the Federal government to hold their hands — they’re cowards.
Who in their right mind would trust this extremely complicated immigration law when even the most recent one past has not been acted upon — How’s the wall coming???
My elected officials have heard my opinion loud and clear. Stop the flow ASAP, using the laws on the books and stop trying to con us with a forked tongue amnesty bill that will do nothing but make sure the little brown people who just walk into “my” country will need another one in a decade.
